On Thursday, the 19th the winners of the National School Olympiad 2022-2023 academic year were awarded by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Gela Geladze, and the Director of the National Assessment and Examinations Center, Sophia Gorgodze. Gift cards and diplomas were granted to the 52 participants who won the first, second and third places in various subjects.


The National School Olympiad was organized in three rounds in the following subjects: Georgian language and literature, Georgian language (for students of non-Georgian-speaking schools), mathematics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology and foreign language.
More than 56,700 students took part in the Olympiad. Up to 9,000 participants moved to the second round, and more than 600 students moved to the third round.
The National School Olympiad is held every year. The purpose of the Olympiad is to stimulate learning process and encourage students. The winners become members of the national teams and participate in the International Olympiads on behalf of Georgia.
Online registration for the National School Olympiad 2023-2024 is open at www.naec.ge until the 14th of November, 18:00pm.
