Nino Tsereteli

Nino Tsereteli assumed the role of Director at the National Assessment and Examinations Center in 2024, bringing with her over 20 years of extensive experience in the education sector. Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in shaping and executing policies in higher education, science, general and professional education. Her responsibilities have encompassed liaising with educational institutions on a wide array of current issues, fostering international collaborations, and overseeing the planning and execution of educational programs.
Having held various positions of leadership within state agencies, Nino Tsereteli served as the Head of the Department of Higher Education Development at the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia from 2019 until February 21, 2024. Prior to this, she occupied roles such as Chief Specialist, Head of the Licensing Division, and Head of the Licensing, Apostille, and Legalization Department at the National Center For Educational Quality Enhancement.
Nino Tsereteli’s dedication to education extends beyond administrative roles. She is a respected lecturer at the Georgian National University (SEU), where she currently delivers courses on “Leadership in Education: Theory and Practice,” “Impact of Globalization on Higher Education,” and “e-Governance and Cyber Security” within the Master’s Program in Education Administration. Additionally, she leads the course “Educational Leaders and Administrative Issues” in the Master’s Program of General Education Administration at “Black Sea International University” LLC, and teaches “Leadership in Public Service” in the Bachelor’s Program of Public Administration and State Management.
